Peter Barr’s musical background began in rock, was tempered in jazz and expanded into African/Caribbean forms. he has played
many styles of music ranging from Rock,Jazz, Calypso, and Reggae,to Afro beat.
His passion for drumming and music led him to the East Coast at age 17, where he played with steel pan visionary, Mackie Burnette, Alan Cave, Ornette Coleman, Judah Eskender Tafari, Bennchoumy.
